Agriculture and farming / The primary sector is and will be a strategic sector in our municipality and in the Pla de Mallorca. The peasants have drawn the appearance of our landscape and our town. The situation in other sectors requires the recovery of the primary sector. We consider it a strategic sector for the future of the municipality and we are committed to maintaining the agricultural and livestock spirit of Santa Eugènia. We want:

• Support the initiatives generated by the village farming and agricultural community.

• Promote local production and foster its direct commercialization.

• Habilitate spaces for communal vegetable gardens bringing together young and elder people.

• Support the organization of training on ecological agriculture.

• Publicize and provide support for the official calls involving subsidies for agriculture/farming.
